The Really Big Silver Screen
Does anyone have a drive-in movie theatre where they live? When I lived in Tennessee, there were two nearby. I use to go to the one in Harriman. The last movie I saw there was Toy Story.
I remember seeing What's New, Pussycat? at a drive-in with my parents when I was a small child. I remember the experience, but not the movie. In the 1970s, I saw The Good-Bye Girl, Saturday Night Fever, and one of the Cheech and Chong movies with friends at drive-ins.
As land values increase, the few remaining drive-ins will probably disappear in the next 20 years. Go while you can.

Play Day
Do you ever take a play day at work? A day when you just sort of putter around the office, maybe cleaning off your desk or erasing old e-mails or posting to your blog? Every now and then, I do, especially after a grueling stretch of intense work. I'm taking a play day today. I deserve it.
